I am interested in the study and development of theories, algorithms and implementations of systems for Intelligent Robotic and Automation. More precisely seeks to studies and the development of systems of perception and distributed decision making, biologically based methods, advanced human-robot interfaces, involving mixed reality and networked sensors and actuators .

The applications I am interested in automation and robotic technologies  to Education and Industry, specifically focusing on the following segments:

  • Marine and Ocean: seeks to understand the manufacturing processes associated with the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of ships and offshore structures;
  • Operational oceanography, in order to identify bottlenecks related to the technological frontier and develop solutions in mixed reality, networks of sensors and actuators for application in these sectors
  • Energy: we study the problems associated with Generation, Transmission and Distribution solution which passes through the study and development of techniques, methodologies and systems involving the Intelligent Automation and Robotics
  • Education:  we seek to understand the processes of teaching and learning and their interactions with the individual and the environment, in order to identify bottlenecks related to the technological frontier and develop solutions in mixed reality, networks of sensors and actuators.
